Abstract
Water are one of the primary needs for every living kind. As time goes by there are so many phenomenon of diversion function in open blue and green space into pavement, such as road, cluster housing, commercial building or even parking space. It’s getting even worse with the emergence of housing with a poor drainage system. This phenomenon will cause the reduction of water absorption area that will leads to flood. During this pandemic phase, water drought and flooding are happening at the same time, this might have cause a challenge to realize a clean environment. This is why maintaining the water sustainability and availability with a decent quality becomes and important thing to do. The purpose of this research is to know the role and effects from the implementation of permaculture principles in order to embody a water friendly design architecture that is friendly to the water. Research Methods used in this research are gathered with qualitative ways such as observation to case study location, literature study, documanttation and interviews with the permaculture pratictioner. Results of this research is a design guidelines that can be done to embody design that is water friendly.
