Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine Amos Rapoport's theory about the effect of environmental changes on community activities in Perum 2 and Perum 3, Parung Panjang District. The research method used a qualitative approach with interview techniques, direct field observation, area mapping, and GIS software. The results showed that physical construction changes affect residents’ activities, and conversely, residents’ activities also affect physical changes in their houses.
