Abstract

Based on regulations, companies are required to provide a Safety Data Sheet (LDK) at the storage and use of chemicals. PT. XYZ is an automotive company that uses more than 200 chemicals for production and production support processes. This research aims to develop a web-based LDK management information system (Sisfo LDK) at PT XYZ, using the Rapid Development Application (RAD) method, Laravel framework, and MySQL database. SDS System Information has five main modules, namely user management, chemical characteristic data management, chemical data management, SDS management, and chemical placement location management. There are several changes to the program design and features from the initial application design, based on responses from users at the RAD Design Workshop stage and the development process at the instruction (construction) stage. It is hoped that the SDS System Information application prototype that has been developed in this research can answer organizational needs regarding integrated SDS management of chemicals, and can be a solution to problems that arise and have an impact on companies related to SDS management.
