Abstract
This study analyzes the decline in Tobin’s Q among companies in the healthcare equipment & providers subsector, despite an increase in revenue due to heightened public awareness of health following the economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. This increased demand and revenue are not reflected in the companies' value, which experienced a decline in 2023. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether Return On Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) affect Tobin’s Q. The research method employs multiple linear regression analysis on data from healthcare equipment & providers companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the years 2022-2023. The findings show that ROA has a significant positive effect on Tobin’s Q, with a significance value of 0.0045, while CR and DER have no significant effect on Tobin’s Q. These results provide insights for management regarding the importance of managing ROA performance to improve Tobin’s Q and attract investor interest. For investors and financial analysts, these findings offer valuable insights for making investment decisions using financial ratios in healthcare equipment & providers companies in Indonesia. Moreover, this study can serve as a reference for exploring similar topics in other industrial sectors in the future. Keywords : Tobin’s Q, financial ratio, Return On Asset (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), Deb to Equity Ratio (DER), Healthcare equipment & providers, Bursa Efek Indonesia
