Abstract
Pembangunan Jaya University, especially the Civil Engineering Study Program, has established a Professional Work program and has become a mandatory subject so that the knowledge gained by students on campus can be adapted or harmonized with the real world of work. On this occasion, the intern carried out professional work on the PDAM pipe relocation project in the Mangga Besar CP202 MRT station area which stretches for 1.8 KM with contractors PT Abadi Haruman Jaya and PT Arkonin as consultants. In this Professional Work, practitioners learn about PDAM pipe interconnection work. Work stages include preparation work, excavation work, installation of pipes and pipe accessories, pipe connection, flushing and hydro test, reconditioning/repairing excavations to casting. During professional work, practitioners are expected to be able to apply the knowledge that has been taught theoretically in class directly into the field, be able to understand the pipe interconnection process, and be able to apply the knowledge that has been received in professional work as a provision when the practitioner enters real work environment.
