Abstract
Effective information management requires a system or application designed with consideration of business needs and activities. A well-designed information management system can help businesses reduce operational errors caused by human error. As an entrepreneur in the accessories trade, the owner of Agustini Accessories Store still uses paper sales receipts and product stock cards for storing sales and inventory data. This storage medium often faces issues such as loss or writing errors by staff, which can affect sales and inventory reports. Additionally, there is no time record of when the data was created or modified by staff, making it difficult for the store owner to identify sources of errors that affect data accuracy for sales and inventory reports. Therefore, an administration system that records all data storage digitally and web-based is needed to ensure more controlled recording processes and minimize data errors made by store staff. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a waterfall approach for the design of the sales and inventory administration system, including planning, analysis, design, and implementation. The system implementation uses JavaScript programming language with VueJs and ExpressJs, as well as MySQL relational database as the data storage medium. This research aims to find solutions to the problems existing in Agustini Accessories Store.
