Abstract

In order to fulfill one of the requirements for completing undergraduate degree, the intern is required to take professional work courses before starting the thesis. This professional work is carried out in order to share a comprehensive reflection to the practitioner regarding the world of work in each study program, one of which is Communication Science. intern carry out professional work at the Center for Data and Information Technology (PUSDATIN), Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. PUSDATIN is one of the government agencies working under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture, the main tasks of PUSDATIN are monitoring educational data statistics, making learning media materials, collaborating with other agencies to produce educational materials. Practitioners themselves are members of the Substance of Learning Media Production. Courses related to practicum professional work are television news production and audio-visual media, because these two courses focus more on audio-visual fields such as studio equipment and video editing. intern have responsibilities in writing articles, producing PSA videos, editing videos on the basis of the director, re-editing what learning videos have been edited before and being part of the event documentation team from the Ministry of Education and Culture. The practitioner has made the PSA video entitled "Corruption and reading books" and "Respect your mother and socialize SELI, PMM and Teaching Devices". In addition to producing PSA videos, practitioners also edit videos in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources which consist of 5 videos for each editor and then the practitioner also re-edits learning videos regarding learning for kindergarten educators or called "Reformat Paud"
