Abstract

CUSTOMER RECEIVABLES CONTROL PROCESS AT PT. PERTAMINA INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING In learning activities carried out within the University, we provide training that can be obtained during the lecture process in the form of theories that can support knowledge to improve one's abilities. However, this is not enough to provide provisions for entering the world of work. Apart from the lecture process on campus, there is a need for practice/internships that can function as a channel for theories obtained in the world of work so that the development of abilities in accordance with the scientific field can run effectively. Development Jaya University has a Professional Work Course which aims to provide an overview of the world of work for students which can be used as a provision when students graduate from college. Practicing carried out professional work for more than 400 hours at PT Pertamina International Shipping (PT PIS). PT PIS is a company that operates in the field of domestic and international shipping services. PT PIS PIS views oil and gas transportation as having potential and a market share that is still wide open, so the opportunity for business development is quite high. During the period of carrying out professional work, practitioners are given several jobs such as recapturing and reporting monthly receivables, reactulating and reporting bad customer receivables, and monitoring transactions that have pending sales orders. Practitioners gain many new experiences when carrying out professional work activities at PT PIS Keywords: Receivables, Control System, Accounting Information System
